It’s amazing, but this year’s team really is a mirror image of last year’s team with a little more in depth, talent, and hustle on the defensive end. All of the same Offensive problems, however

Buffen has come alive. Good to see. He has been underperforming this year.

We should probably separate the Buffen and Jemison minutes more. Having both in the game at the same time really bogs down the offense.

I disagree just a bit. The ability is there to be a lot better offensively, but we have to be disciplined and do the work without settling for the 1st thing. Those outside shots need to come in rhythm, the entry passes need to be from the proper angles, etc. Our guys for the 1st 12 minutes looked like we think we can just win on athleticism. This last 5 we are working a lot harder

We’ve got to find a way to stagger the minutes with our offensive liabilities. Jemison, Leblanc, Buffen sometimes, Quan, and Ertel so far this year gave all been offensive liabilities. Lovan can’t shoot more than 15 feet away from the basket.

Gotta stagger in locure, brown, and Johnson some

We play pretty elite defense with our current lineups, but our Offense is putrid.

Wow what a run to start the second half!

I’ll probably have to learn to live with the fact that this team will struggle in the half court and we might look really nasty on the offensive end a lot. But with this defense and spurtability, we will be competitive and have a chance in just about any game..

Buffen Doesn’t play aggressive enough around the rim. Poor box out, takes it up lackadaisical around the rim, gets blocked by smaller players… Show some fire man

Great possession by Walker. Gets the steal, settles and sets up the team, then finds the open man for the bucket. Very solid point guard play.

Very good second half. Need to carry it up to St. Louis and get a big win.

I know I am a broken record… But…

This team is absolutely elite defensively. We shut teams down. Our Offense makes my eyes bleed for long stretches of the game. Quan and Ertel 0-8 from three. Walker is either nuclear or awful, very little in between. We don’t rebound well - our boxing out and feel for where the ball is or is going to bounce doesn’t seem very good. More than half the team is very limited offensively, and we have to tweak lineups or something to generate more points. We have the potential to be a really damn good team. We could be really scary in a tournament, because if we ever got hot from three, and still played our great defense, we could beat almost anyone on a given night

Great to see such a monster game from Buffen. He’s been way too passive.
