When Rich Rod walked away from Bama, his career was on the "Up escalator" and he had many quality offers. Now a decade later, his "escalator" may have slowed or even reversed. Jax State (and Jacksonville) may look very different to them now than it did a decade ago.
Trivia note -- When Lane Kiffen left California and took the Bama OC job, he and his wife divorced. Coincidence? Perhaps.
