Sure thang, Buttiplug. Since a large part of gas prices are taxes, you'll just pass that on to every single driver on the road in the form of mileage taxes because we sure as hell know you won't just apply it to electric cars since the old dinosaur guzzlers will be paying gasoline taxes.

Not to mention, if people are struggling to pay $4 per gallon now, I'm sure rushing out to buy a $40-$80k electric car and getting their home retrofitted for a charging station is JUST slightly out of their reach. Not to mention, they have a long way to go to make electric cars feasible for many drivers on the road.

So our Transportation Secretary doesn’t understand the connectivity of energy prices? Nice.

And crazy Tree Hugging, Leftist, Masked Covidian, Electric Car driving, Cat People don't realize the Government makes about 10 times more money off gas than the oil companies.
