Stop it. Marshall fans load up their hoopties and move to Charlotte in droves because this is God's country. You know you love us.

Marshall hospitality
They are indeed different in person than many of them are on here. I didn't come across any bad people. That said , I don't feel the need to go back there again

I've traveled to many away games, SEC, ACC, Sun Belt, C-USA, and even OVC back in the day. There are been some schools that have rolled out the red carpet and there have been some really bad visitor experiences.
My visit to Huntington will go down as one of the best visitor experiences. Everyone in the community was friendly and welcoming. During tailgating, I didn't buy a beer the whole afternoon. Everyone was kind and generous. Heck, one tailgate didn't have any beer and the guy offered to run down to Sheetz to get more beer just for me. Unbelievable hospitality.
At the game, minus the half a dozen Marshall fans who chose to sit in Sec 101 (the worst seats) just to have the opportunity to heckle, everyone else was kind. As Herd fans were filling out toward the end, they were complimentary of our team, thanked us for coming, and wished us well next week.
I was already bummed that WKU and Marshall won't be in the same conference. I'm even more bummed having made the trip.
Marshall fans -- them good people.
Thanks for sharing. In today's world, we don't read enough stories like this. Tip of the hat to the Herd fanbase! And a tip of the hat to galojah for sharing this!

Similar to how anybody that ever attended an FAU football game feels, clearly.

Haha. Right back at ya man. Welcome in my home anytime. When we get together, that's more people than attend FAUs home games.
