AP Poll sees UC jump Alabama, moving from 4 to 3 in that poll. Both won, but Alabama's win was less than impressive. By all rights they should get destroyed by Georgia, the best defense in the nation. Houston is 16th.

If Alabama, Michigan and Oklahoma State lose next week Cincinnati might actually be a 2 seed.

I liked seeing that (UC jumping past Bama). It would be nice if the CFP rankings do the same on Tuesday.

You obviously haven't seen Bama this year. No way they are a top 8 team, no less top 4. Their QB is worse than at least 3, if not more, QBs in the AAC. He can't make decisions quick enough. They will get destroyed by a great defense in Georgia. They would have lost to 6-6 Auburn in the RB goes down before being pulled out of bounds. Bama is not a very good team this and I would bet you if you were local to me and talking trash.

Probably not going to happen now but I would love to see them play tOSU and kick that ass.

I’ve watched every one of their games and yes, Alabama is a top 8 team.

They are not as strong on the offensive line or in the secondary as they have been for most of a decade but their front 7 and skill position players are as strong as about anyone’s.

And if you think there are 3 or more AAC QB’s better than him...just stop it.

Georgia will likely win but I’d not bet the farm on that.

Well, if Bama wins in Atlanta on Saturday, that becomes very possible.

But I don’t believe Bama will win in Atlanta on Saturday.

I now am convinced that UC makes the playoff if they’re 13-0, regardless of what everybody else does. I hadn’t believed that to be the case until yesterday.

I have only seen four of their games I believe, Florida, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Auburn. Based on those games, Bama definitely does not look as good as they have in the past. In fact, other than the Ole Miss game, I thought Bama didn't look that great at all. But my opinion is based just on 4 games.
Bottom line, if Georgia beats Bama, UC should definitely be in. (or if Michigan or Okie State lose). If any one of those things happen, UC is safe. I hope they are safe anyway. (Of course, I am assuming Cincy beats UH, which probably is not a given).
