Agree. I wasn't enamored with what I saw when I went out there a few years ago.

Ok. You are entitled to your opinions, but I don't believe you'll find too many folks that would choose Norman over LA.

Interesting take on the OU/Texas move to the SEC.

"Within hours of Riley taking the new job, three five-star commitments in the Classes of 2022 and 2023 backed out of pledges to Oklahoma as well."

The other interesting tidbit is that as good as A&M has been since moving to the SEC, they are only 46-35 since the move, demonstrating how tough it is to stay on top in the SEC. Texas is way behind A&M at the moment.

I can't stand Cali either... but I would have done this move. I'm super excited for all parties involved, and I didn't care about any of them before a few hours ago. Football just got exciting again, West of Texas.

The fact that at least 3 people on this message board have expressed that they would choose Norman over LA has me seriously rethinking my decision to post and read these message boards.

I went there for the UCLA game in 2019 (I think). It was the most depressing place I've ever seen in my life. I'm getting sick just thinking about it.

I understand why someone from the East coast would be all in. I also understand why someone from the Midwest would be way out.

With my credentials I could double my salary, tomorrow, in California. I don't think there is a number high enough to make me go. A company offered me 2.5x to go to Chicago. My wife said, "No, I hate the Cubs fans. Can't do it." Sometimes us Midwesterners just like being in the small town Midwest.

LA is lovely for a long weekend. I’d have to eat xanex like pez if I had to live there permanently.

LA sucks...unless you are rich. Reilly is rich and the lifestyle he will have there will be incredible and much less stressful than at OU. USC will demand winning but we are talking about the PAC12 football. Comparing that to what he was getting ready to have to face in at OU in SEC play? Not even close.

Everyone realizes he will be living in Malibu or Newport Beach, not downtown LA right?

I was so wrong about Kelly leaving ND. I wonder how the ND fans are handling this.

Id say Cindy fans but they have had to be expecting this. I think OU fans are ultimately melting down the most, followed by ND.

Maybe Cindy fans are the most butt hurt after all?

That is hysterical!! I even used the double punctuation at the end, just like you!! One little thing, it’s “they’re” because you are trying to condense “they are”. Also, good luck against Houston with no coach?? It’ll be just like when Brian Kelly left before the Orange Bowl against Florida!!

It was the Sugar Bowl… but then what would Temple fans know about New Years Day bowl games? Nothing

Yet Temple has tasted a 34-13 domination of UC in 2016 on their way to winning the American Athletic Conference. Of course this was after beating them the previous year 34-26 in the game after beating Penn State 27-10, including 10(?) sacks of the PSU QB. How many times has UC beaten the beast in their state Ohio State?

EDIT: I just finished looking up 2018 and 2019, as well as 2020. Cincinnati broke a 4 game Temple win streak with a 15-13 win over Temple in 2020. Temple has had UC's number more than the other way around.
