"The high ceiling" refers to any average bowl team or 6-6 CUSA team should trust their luck with a Ball State, or even NIU over CMU or Toledo... who IMO are better overall teams at this point in the year. Regardless of overall season resume.

Im happy to play MTSU because they turned down a chance to play in the MAC so this game has some extra sauce to a superfan like myself. And also MTSU has a decent name to me compared to newly found FBS members in your conference. I have to imagine if MTSU wins, theres not a bunch of brands that sound better than beating Toledo from the MAC.

There's certainly no lack of MAC West teams that think they're better than the NIU team they lost to, at home.

his first start yet. Really improved over the season.

CMU was Finn's first start, EMU his third. Against the Eagles, Finn was 30-45-1 461yds 3 TDs. But again that
has little to do with Finn being able to move the FB against NIU in his limited appearance.
