Assuming they are correct, TexanMark will win. He (I assume he) correctly picked 12 of 14 games correct including Ohio State over Duke, the only picker to do so). Mark's only games wrong were Virginia over Iowa and Clemson over Rutgers.

Duke is a bunch of freshmen. They're going to be inconsistent.

GT played a ranked Wisconsin team after just being cleared from the flu for a matter of hours. The team hadn't even had a full practice at full stength. So all things considered I thought they acquitted themselves well. That's how I would expect them to look against a ranked team early in the season with no more Jose Alvarado and no more Moses Wright. They're competitive, they're close, but the bigs need more time.

I was sweating NCSt last night. Had 2 pts riding on it.

So the final tally was 8-6...better than expected after the first 8 games.

In the end it came down to the most games picked correct so I'm not sure if the confidence points were really necessary here as an added twist. I thought it would spice it up.

I'll start up the men's basketball pick contest at the beginning of the year and likely will include some women's basketball games (gotta include some games of my inappropriate crush young enough to be my daughter you know). Don't forget the football contest is still going on.
