The Fighting Squirrels are 0-5 against their D3 opponents this year.

This is the first year that they have ever had a team.

They attempt about 30 three-pointers per game. It will be "bombs away" early and often today.

They are 0-5, but have lost games by 2, 3, and 4 points and are averaging 86 points per game.

Fairly typical start. The opponent has 8 points off our early turnovers.

Tribe on a 4:30 scoring drought. They have missed their last 5 shots.

Saying it now. If we somehow actually lose today, Dane should be let go by the new AD tomorrow. He is not his guy, and everything that Huge touched pretty much sucks. Move on from both of these disasters (London too) sooner than later.

And, just like that, they MAKE 5 in a row. 7 point lead.

Could someone at the game ask Bobby Dwyer to either speak up or put his mic under his mask…he’s very soft-spoken and it’s almost impossible to hear him on the Flo feed.

Well, once they settled down on defense and started going inside on offense, it finally looks like a D-I team vs. a D-III team.

Tribe 6 for 8 to start the 2nd Half. MBU 0 for 6.

One thing for sure, this team hasn't found a turnover that it doesn't love. It doesn't matter if it's Wake Forest or Mary Baldwin. We are especially fond of the unforced variety. Until we get at least the unforced TOs reigned in, I can't imagine there is much hope for sustained success.

The highlight of the game is Bobby Dwyer making a reference to JohnMark Ludwick. Rocco will be pleased.

The entire team are freshmen except one junior who transferred from Hampden Sydney

We are on our regular pace. 15 turnovers to go with 22% 3pt shooting. 4 minutes to go

Well, we had a good second half, but shooting 6-26 from three and still bombing them up instead of taking it to the hoop is a little weird against this opponent. Wight/Hatton combine for 30/13 and Kochera went for 18, 5 boards, and 7 assists.

Glad to see a W. Turnovers and poor 3-point shooting continue to hurt us. Let’s hope for an improved showing from the good guys against Navy.

15 turnovers vs a new team with a nearly all freshmen roster? Man.

A win is a win and feels much better than the losses. Kochera looked pretty good and is apparently getting back in form.

Never announced, but heard at yesterday's game from a Tribe official that he'd had limited pre-season the two weeks prior
with some kind of injury; he could scrimmage but hampered.
