Another legendary CUSA ref moment:

UTEP QB spirals the ball into the ground ten feet in front of him, clearly grounding, no flag. Play runs on the jumbotron several times as UTEP lines up to punt. Suddenly, 20-30 seconds after the play, a flag and a whistle. Intentional grounding. Obvious that the ref saw it on the big screen . . . and called it.

I guess it's allowed, the ball had not been snapped, but I'll be glad to leave the CUSA ref crews along with LaTech.
Don't forget the 10 minute "knot in the chain" delay.

“The measuring device was broken.” Jeepers!

This would never happen with the old USFL Dicker Rod.

Haha! The guy behind me at the game kept saying the “yardage measuring device is broken.” I couldn’t stop laughing.

I can be on the golf course, 250 yards from the hole, and I can pull out of my pocket a small laser that tells me within half a yard how far the pin is from me. Yet we are measuring ten yards on the football field with sticks and chains.
