Sutton Smith in at fullback for Raiders
Sort of a strange twist of NIU fate that Sutton Smith got signed by Raiders to replace injured FB and last second NIU lost recruit Alec Ingold.

He’s #41. Been in on kick off coverage and in lead blocking on 1 run play.

Also weird that Max Crosby is the Raiders starting D end who came out of the MAC the same year as Sutton.

I always thought FB was the best position for him to make it in the NFL.

I also thought FB was best for Lynch in the NFL.

Great Thanksgiving for Sutton. Hard to believe it’s been 3 years since the MACC vs Buffalo.

Nothing to speak of. Maybe in for 5 snaps. Blocking only. Covered kicks. I think his spot is safe as Ingold was put on IR.

RE: Sutton Smith in at fullback for Raiders
This one is dated. He got put back on the roster for the Cowboy game on Thanksgiving. Now he has 2 game checks. Let's see what happens this week. Raiders either pick up another guy and dump him again or he gets to play a few more weeks. Getting game experience may help him get picked up by someone else later.

He was a running back when we recruited him. Should be a smooth adjustment for him.

Is that Sutton Smith in the picture in the article or is it the Heisman Trophy? Hard to tell the difference.
