Tell me about it. Our coach inherited a bad OL and our top RB got dismissed from the team in the summer.

We can run so we’ll just pass our way to a TD and 2-point conversion! Go Jags!

21-14 - 4:24 left.

We definitely needed that! 4 min with these Jags is an eternity sometimes. Fingers crossed... go clock GO.

Actually SBC needs USA or Troy to win this weekend for the better outcome for the conference.

Pretty clear these refs are working for a USA bowl. Clearly shoves our guy and the ref gives him a “talk”

USA didn’t try on last drive. Don’t understand this mentality

Coastal scored and missed the PAT leaving South a chance to win with a TD, but the Jags didn't come close to getting even a first down.

Coastal wins 27-21

Coastal wins, 27-21. Who would have thought that our defense would have actually won us a game?

Great game, Jags.

They talk about how aggressive Kane Wommack is, but going for it on a lot of 4th downs doesn't make you aggressive. He plays not to lose a lot.

We have the uncanny ability to come close but not close enough. Of all games this year, I’m still bothered by the Texas State game. Our coaches lost that game. Overall I’m pleased with the direction Coach Wommack is taking us, but that game was definitely a growing pain of a young coach.

Agreed. I'm also not fully sold on the statistical play calling in some of the scenarios we've seen this year. Game situations vary and so should relying on statistics compiled from other games where the situations may have been completely different. I still would attempt the field goal in the Louisiana game for instance. That said, Wommack got the most out of this team and I feel good about where this is heading.

Questionable play calling, 4th and 6 inches up 10-7 at CCU 10 yd line, and the play call is qb rollout to the short side with the TE dragging across? Really?

That's what they've been doing all year long. They missed a few out of bounds hits in the USA - App State game. There are certain penalties I'd prefer to not be called all the time, but hits out of bounds and other unsportsmanlike penalties are not in the category.

You're so right and that's the difference between a good team and one that is not. Going to a bowl is fun but losing in it is not. The future looks brighter.

Good game Jags. I think y'all are definitely headed in the right direction as a program. Next year should be a bowling year for sure.

South just has to close out and win tight games. 6 points away from being 7-5 (UL & TXST). Only lost to Coastal by 6 and Troy by 7 also. 15 more points in those games and South could have been 9-3.

South is trending up. Just got to win the close games.
