Typo.

Maryland is at Rutgers.

quo vadis, does that change your pick? panite I assume if you like Rutgers at Maryland you'll like Rutgers at home vs. Maryland.

RE: College Football Pick Contest (11/26-27/21)
Useless Stat of the season:

Since 9/18 (I didn't count the first two weeks since not enough people played), I counted the number of picks per team in each game and calculated a percentage of picks for the more common pick for each game. The lowest possible score would be .5 if each team was picked the same number of times and the highest possible score would be 1 if one team was picked unanimously. Then I took the average for each week. If an average is close to 1 then every game was pretty obvious, the closer to .5 then the games were probably evenly matched. My goal in the season was evenly matched games so I wanted the average to be close to .5 each week. Here were the averages:

Date Average
9/18/2021 0.75
9/25/2021 0.81
10/2/2021 0.83
10/9/2021 0.72
10/16/2021 0.79
10/23/2021 0.67
10/30/2021 0.72
11/6/2021 0.70
11/13/2021 0.79
11/20/2021 0.82
11/27/2021 0.75

The week with the most "competitive" matchups was 10/23/21 with a 0.67 average. On that date, six of the ten games had one team picked by five pickers and the other picked by four and only one game had one team picked by all nine pickers (ironically it was Illinois at Penn State and we all know how that game ended!) I had three weeks with an average over 0.8 or 80%.
