Congrats to all of those honored. Nice to see the voting appears fair. Are these votes done by the coaches?

Congrats to all. The league's HCs do make the picks. I sort of expected CJ to win OPOY. I hadn't stat watched to see who else might be in the running, but figured he'd have to be out front with the monster games he's had. I have to say that seeing Greg Ross as a 1st team All-CAA CB isn't something I would have predicted.

Having two WRs as 1st team All-CAA is impressive and pretty rare. It's incredible how balanced their stats are:

AWJ 67 Rec 994 Yrds 11 TDs
KT 69 Rec 896 Yrds 11 TDs

With a deep playoff run it's not out of the question that they both end up topping the JMU single season records in every category.

Rec: 82 Earnest Payton 1998
Yrds: 1,207 David McLeod 1993
TDs: 14 Macey Brooks 1996

If AWJ sticks around for his three more seasons of eligibility, and assuming no major injuries along the way, he will obliterate the JMU career receiving records. He actually has a decent chance at breaking them all next year.

AWJ 100 Rec 1,597 Yrds 17 TDs

Rec: 185 Earnest Payton 1997-00
Yrds: 2,899 David McLeod 1990-93
TDs: 25 Macey Brooks 1993-96

Yeah - don't really know all the players in the league but JMU had 8 players as first team all conference (non special teams). Nova only had three. I'll bet their 7 fans are not happy.
