FUND RAISING
It’s a great time to be a Bearcat. Seeing the national spotlight on our student-athletes, coaches and university community, I can’t help but think that this is just a hint of what’s to come when we officially call the Big 12 home.

The passion and dedication of people like you have helped elevate UC to the elite ranks of college athletics. And now that the opportunity is here, we’re not getting complacent; we want to be ready to compete—and to win—from the very first day we enter the Big 12.

I’m pleased to announce that later today UC Athletics is launching the Day One Ready Campaign, a $100 million fundraising initiative that will position the Bearcats to compete at those high levels and bring championships to Cincinnati. To achieve that vision, we’ve identified key fundraising projects within these priority areas:
• Signature Facilities
• Student-Athlete Wellness
• Championship Readiness
As a signifcant part of the university's comprehensive effort Next, Now: The Campaign for Cincinnati, the Day One Ready campaign reflects where we’re heading in competition and recruiting as a Power 5 university, but to get there, we need you. Your philanthropic support for the Bearcats is more important than ever, and we look forward to connecting with you soon to find ways we can continue to partner together.

With $24 million dollars raised to date during the silent phase of this campaign, we can’t thank you enough for all you have done and continue to do to make UC Athletics among the best in the country.

Go Bearcats!

With gratitude,

RE: FUND RAISING
I don't see key personnel retention listed as one of the priority areas.

IMO, accomplishing those goals is THE key to personnel retention.

Just paying CLF and CWM "more" won't keep them at UC because ultimately there are plenty of schools with deeper pockets out there. Showing CLF & CWM, their staffs and their families that we are committed to being and staying "ready" plus highlighting our other intangible benefits will keep them here as long as possible and make us super attractive if they unfortunately do move on

DAY ONE CAMPAIGN
CINCINNATI – Nov. 23, 2021 – University of Cincinnati Athletics has launched a $100 million fundraising initiative to prepare for the university's upcoming move to the Big 12. UC announced on Sept. 10 that it accepted the invitation to join the conference, which includes members of the Association of American Universities (AAU) and R1 Universities (very high research activity), no later than July 1, 2024.

The Day One Ready Campaign will raise money to directly boost the Bearcats' abilities to enhance the student-athlete experience and compete for championships in its new conference.

The construction of a new indoor practice and performance facility on campus is a key project of the campaign.

UC is nearly a quarter of the way to the $100 million goal, having already raised $24 million during the "silent phase" of the fundraising campaign.

If you have to take an RMD, a contribution through the IRA qualifies as part of your RMD.

RE: FUND RAISING
I spent 10 minutes on the website before realizing you can't give money online at this time without contacting ucats and speaking with a rep. I've loved everything cunningham has done up to this point but when we're 4th in the country in football and just spanked Illinois, now is the time to get people's quick donations. You can always go after the whales later.

So $76,000,000 divided by 22,000 season tickets means $3,455 for each ticket.
