Don't blame me, I voted for the other guy. I'm pretty sure more Americans did, too, but the swamp is too deep for us to ever know for fact.

Yeppers. Reap what you sow, filth.

TOLERATE IT, CALIFORNIA.

https://gasprices.aaa.com/?state=CA

That $4.70 average across California leads the entire USA. Totally cool.

The second highest is Hawaii at $4.36 out there in the Pacific. In the continental 48, it is Nevada at $3.96. The lowest is Texas and Oklahoma, both below $3.00 average and then Kansas, Missouri, and Michigan but mainly all across the deep south just over $3.05 to 3.20 or so.

Warmer winters, too. Not much need for that expensive heating oil down South. Wow, heating oil costs are up 57% in 2021 in NY state.

https://dailygazette.com/2021/11/03/home...ut-winter/

I bet Biden* will stay warm enough this winter to keep gorging his chocolate chip ice cream even on bitterly cold days when he is taking another 5 day weekend in Wilmington or at Camp David.

LET'S GO BRANDON!!

RE: Biden*s Energy Secretary on rising gas prices
While Biden is asking Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Iraq to produce more oil and by doing so kind of shifts the blame for higher gas prices on them. You never hear anyone from the media asking him why aren't you asking the LARGEST producer of oil to do the same.....

USA

Most people and I mean most on both sides don't know or understand America is the largest oil producer in the world. Imagine what would happen if the media started pushing the fact Biden's actions helped shut down a lot of oil producing in the US and shutdown oil pipelines with in days of taking office which also is lowering the amount of oil.

The people that can least afford "green" energy even if it was the main source used today will be the poor and blue collar America. They will also be the group that switches over to the EV, last because they cant afford it. My natural gas furnaces cost a lot less to run than the electric ones. Actually its almost double the cost.

Once the demand is doubled or tripled that cost isn't going down. If someone looked at my electric bill a person could make the case a KW of use is only 8 cents but if you do the math at the end where it says total cost for electric used each KW of power cost me $0.14 cents. Which is almost double what my gas furnaces use.

Americans are mostly stupid and with any push will believe what they are feed by politicians and the media. Even a lot of democrats would be ready to run this idiot out of office if they actually knew America produces more oil than any other country and Biden's actions is cutting the amount this country produces. Which is helping to raise gas prices.

The media and whitehouse will keep blaming it on OPEC and push "green" to the idiots

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Ford Chrysler and GM are the dogs of the automobile world. Almost all of them should be non-existent if it wasnt for the stupid bailout.

Ford Chrysler and GM dont create the new battery technology all they do it take someone elses innovation and put it in their cars.

The oil and gas companies would be a lot more invested in making new and better energies work as it is what they do. They employ thousands of people trying to find breakthroughs in energy. whether or not it is making production of oil and gas cheaper or more efficient or new/innovative technologies they are in a much better position than Ford, Chrysler and GM.

Oil production precipitously dropped in the US in 2020… long before Joe Biden was President…we went from producing 12.5mmm barrels per day to 9-10mmm. We have since started to see increases and are now up to 11-11.5mmm barrels & the release from the reserve will help bump us back up to pre-pandemic levels.
We maybe the single largest producer of oil, but we still only produce about 10% of it; while OPEC controls the lions share of the remainder & controls the market.

Come on Man! surely you can think of a reason production dropped in 2020? Honestly you shouldnt even had to think about it. You are wrong America was at a Net Zero in production vs use. https://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.php?id=268&t=6

EIA’s data for 2020 indicates that total U.S. petroleum production averaged about 18.375 million barrels per day (b/d), which included:

crude oil—11.283 million b/d
natural gas liquids—5.175 million b/d
biofuels and oxygenates—1.024 million b/d
refinery processing gain—0.924 million b/d

Total U.S. petroleum consumption (as product supplied) averaged about 18.186 million b/d in 2020. The difference between petroleum consumption and production is mainly composed of net imports (imports minus exports) of petroleum and changes in petroleum inventories.

_____________________________________________

How much oil is consumed in the United States?
Only a small amount of crude oil is directly consumed in the United States. Nearly all of the crude oil that is produced in or imported into the United States is refined into petroleum products, such as gasoline, diesel fuel, heating oil, and jet fuel, which are then consumed. Liquids produced from natural gas processing are also consumed as petroleum products. Renewable biofuels, such as ethanol and biodiesel, are used as substitutes for or as additives to refined petroleum products. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) includes biofuels in consumption of petroleum products. EIA uses product supplied to represent U.S. petroleum consumption.

In 2020, the United States consumed an average of about 18.19 million barrels of petroleum per day, or a total of about 6.66 billion barrels of petroleum. This was the lowest level of annual consumption since 1995. The drop in consumption in 2020 from 2019 was the largest recorded annual decline in U.S. petroleum demand. The decrease was largely the result of the global response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Most foreign car makers have already committed to electric… you do understand this, don’t you? Volvo & Mercedes have both committed to be all electric with the decade… Toyota has 70 new electric vehicles scheduled to hit the worldwide market… its happening & the car makers are the ones leading the effort. GM, too, has committed to be all electric & Ford is building a megaplex in west TN to build their new all electric F150. All of this is happening without the assistance of Exxon or Shell… who will be Sears & Blockbuster if they do not pivot.

So now you are moving away from what you first said?

Two of the top 4 oil production nations are in North America so why is Biden asking OPEC to increase production?

According to the most recent data, the top five oil-producing nations are the United States, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Canada, and China.

The United States overtook Russia in 2017 for the second-place spot and surpassed former leader Saudi Arabia a year later to become the world’s top oil producer.4 Much of the increased U.S. production is attributable to fracking in the shale formations in Texas and North Dakota.5 The United States became a net exporter of petroleum (i.e., exports exceed imports) in 2020.6

And you are incorporating natural gas… I’m speaking only in terms of crude… the raw material of the petroleum that powers our cars.

Lets look at this with your numbers....

you said American will produce 11 million barrels this year under Biden

Under Trump America went from 3rd to first from 2017 to 2018. So America went from producing under 10 million barrels to over 18 million under President Trump. To now only producing 11 million barrels. Is that what you are saying?

I will let you do the math and figure out why we are now seeing gas prices at 3+ a gallon and $2 dollars a little over a year ago

Quote:Saudi Arabia
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia contributes 10.82 million b/d, representing 11% of the world’s total production.

Quote:Russia
While Russia has fallen in the ranks, it remains one of the world’s top oil producers, with an average of 10.5 million b/d in 2020, accounting for 11% of total world production.

Let me help you out with it.

2016 America was behind both countries so the amount America produced under Obama was under 10 million barrels

Trump takes office and America soon jumps both counties and producing 18 million barrels and gas was cheaper

Biden takes office and starts to cut America oil production and according to you that number is now 11 million barrels of oil.....

3+ dollars a gallon on gas and other items made from oil is also increasing at a high rate. Especially plumping pipes and that has also added to the increase of cost to build, along with increase lumber cost.

And that sudden drop in worldwide production led to a lack of supply & the current spike in prices… which Republicans predictably blame on Joe Biden.

At least you’re transparent 03-lmfao

as are ewe … however, only a cuck would intentionally indulge controlling supply to raise/subsidize costs to achieve nothing but fk’n the average tax payer…
