Either MT or FAU will bowl not both unless they do the stupid 5-7 rule. ODU will beat Charlotte. They are playing great right now.

Nah, I think we'll just lose this Saturday and let ODU bowl instead.

The websites that are predicting FAU to a bowl are not predicting MTSU. Same for ODU and Charlotte. This is showing who they think will win and where they would go.

FAU wouldn't go at 5-7, but Middle Tennessee possibly could. MTSU has the second-hghest APR in Conference USA--second only to Rice--and they would have the second-highest APR among potential 5-7 teams--second only to Washington. So there is a chance for MTSU either way.

Our president would consider it a better achievement to get an APR bowl at 5-7 than to have a 10-win team.

Go 5-7 and lose the bowl game = 100 losses for Stuckstill

= Free taxpayer-paid trip for 7-Wood McPhee to the Bahamas

No way we beat odu and bowl. They’ll have a season high for offensive yards on Saturday.

To be perfectly honest all 4 teams, EmptySue, FAU, UNCC and ODU are so evenly matched may be FAU is the more talented roster out of the bunch and ODU is the youngest but these games can go anyway on any given Saturday. We will see who ends up going to bowl and who doesn't in a couple of days anyway.

Don't forget those 4-7 teams that could win their way up to 5-7. That adds several more teams to this list.

Of note, UW lost to WSU but is ineligible for a bowl even at 5-7 because PAC12 rules do not allow 5-7 teams to go to bowls. If there is 1 spot open and MT loses to FAU, we will be offered the invitation regardless of what bowl has the opening.

Partially true. If it’s a PAC12 bowl that’s open for example we aren’t going to that bowl. ESPN will be sure to maneuver things around to place us in the most ****** option possible.

Nope, the NCAA rule is that the APR-eligible schools pick where they go, not the other way around. If there are open slots, we get first dibs on where we want to go according to the NCAA policy.

"An institution that finished its season with a minimum of five wins and a maximum of seven losses and achieves a multiyear football APR score that permits participation in the postseason (e.g., 930) to be identified as alternates in descending order of the most recently published multiyear FBS football APR scores. If the APR in the FBS for the most recent reporting year ends in a tie between two or more teams, then the single-year APR in the FBS, beginning with the most recent reporting year and continuing until the tie is broken, shall be used to determine which team(s) will be identified as alternates. An alternate’s institution must affirmatively state where the team will participate, if selected as an alternate. If the alternate’s institution elects to participate, then the identified alternate’s institution is responsible for selecting which of the remaining postseason bowl games the alternate will participate in, and the terms of that participation shall remain the same as the terms with the originally contracted conference."

Y'all Write this Down! 03-shhhh Or, in the words of Nashville Sportscaster George Plaster " Book It!" 07-coffee3 When MT drops the game to FAU later today and we fall to 5-7 03-weeping ; Middle Tennessee President Sydney McPhee will accept a Bowl Bid. Then we pick the Bahamas Bowl so that he and Massaro can go to the Beach and McPhee can have another family reunion as well. Maybe we can also play Western Michigan again with the same outcome as our first Bahamas Bowl trip. 03-lmfao Let's Go Blue!!!!!

The Pac12 has no 5-7 teams, Washington finished 4-8.

True. So MT is #1 on the list either way.

If you believe this don’t know what to tell you. ESPN will determine what bowl we are in.
