Huskies show some fight down the stretch. No doubt this is an uphill climb.

RE: MBB vs Little Rock
Scored 18 in the first half and 42 in the 2nd half.
Just looking at the box score, Osten, Makuoi and Okanu are basically clones of one another so, I suppose just rotating them through the center position has some kind of benefit, but they really don't offer much offensive contribution (although, Okanu has moments...the other two, I'm not hopeful for).
With that said, Myrick (who is also 6'8" but more like a Levi Bradley type body than a Kingsley Okanu type body) probably needs to be a starter soon.
Without the benefit of watching the game, I'd probably go into the next game with a starting lineup of:
C - Okanu
PF - Myrick
G - Hankerson
G - Thornton
G - Hunter
Then you've got Kueth as the 6th man (not including the 3 headed hydra at center) who can basically sub in for anyone except Thornton and Okanu...and maybe even the center position if you want to go all G/Fs.
And I'd see how that combo does. I think you can live with Myrick struggling offensively for a bit as he grows into the the level. Obviously, I'd like to get Kon in there regularly when he's back able to play (not sure why he's not dressing right now).
Btw, once again, Crump provided basically nothing. He started and shot 0 for 3 with 0 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, 4 turnovers and 3 fouls. This is the exact definition of "unproductive minutes".
They also clearly need to practice shooting free throws. 50% on the day (11 of 22). If they shoot 75%, I think the game is tied (or really close). Then again, the biggest culprits are Myrick (1 of 6) and Osten (2 of 6). Take them out of the equation and the team shot 8 of 10. So, it's clearly not as bad as it appears.
And actually, now that I'm looking at their listed weights, Myrick is maybe bigger (thicker) than I realized.
Myrick - 6'8" - 215
Osten - 6'9" - 210
Okanu - 6'7" - 225
Makuoi - 6'9" - 220
I still think he's more of a PF than a C but having him in there gives some level of threat from the inside.
Anyway, just some boxscore thoughts.

Pretty much agree with everything Big Red said in analyzing the box score. Having seen Marquette play, pretty sure we can expect something more like the Indiana / Missouri outcome. What will be more interesting to see is how these Huskies play against Eastern Illinois.

Turn around situations take time. It will be interesting to see what coach Bruno can do in his third year with a roster of players he is able to recruit. The program has been a disaster for so long that he will have a difficult time selling it but he is a very positive and confident guy and I am more hopeful than ever that the program is headed in a good direction.

Marquette will have a full court press on almost the whole game. The game will be nasty with a long bus ride home.
