These SunBelt members just don't understand how bad CUSA refs are. Amusingly enough the Louisiana tech game was the best game I've seen from CUSA refs in years. Only one awful call all game.

I would always be so happy to hear that the other conference refs were doing the games rather than our own. That way we would only get 3 to 1 ratio'd on calls against us rather than 6 to 1.

I haven't watched much SEC football the last decade because of how bad it is. There is no enjoyment.

I don't know, I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Its fun watching SEC teams squirm when you have no dog in the fight.

Same here. The best officiated game was the Texas game with Big 12 refs. They let both teams play physical but not too much. They let the ticky tack stuff go and didn't much up the game.

If not, they’re better than CUSA refs.

Yep. I forget the year, but it happened at a Tulsa vs. Navy game before the AAC was a thing. I saw it unfold on TV with my own eyes. The announcers were understandably dumbfounded. I’ll have to see if I can find documentation of it somewhere.

As another example of how bad CUSA refs are. Just look at the Louisiana / Marshall Game thread on this board. That's only a small taste. Just a few nights ago saw a player get punched on camera, but the ref was looking at the cheerleaders. Or maybe the ball rack. It was hard to tell. He certainly wasn't watching the game.
