So the ACC Champion will play in either the Chick-fil-A Peach or PlayStation Fiesta. IPTAY was only listing the Peach as a choice for Clemson prior to this past weekend. So, I'm not sure if that means the ACC Champion is definitely going to the Peach, or if that just meant Clemson was definitely going to the Peach if things had worked out in their favor. Regardless, the Peach is the most likely destination for the champ.
Then, the loser of the ACC Championship game will join Clemson and NC State as choices for one of the following Tier One bowls.
TaxSlayer Gator
Cheez-It
SDCCU Holiday
Miami has the next highest record and would join two of the other 6-6 teams as choices for the following Tier Two bowls.
Duke's Mayo
New Era Pinstripe
Tony the Tiger Sun
Next, two additional 6-6 teams will be selected for one of the following Tier Three bowls.
Military presented by Peraton
Wasabi Fenway
Finally, the remaining 6-6 team will end up in one of the following backup bowls.
SERVPRO First Responder
Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla
TicketSmarter Birmingham

Schema, this pecking order holds if the 9-3 schools wants it to hold.
The Sun Bowl has a better day, better time of day, and a better opponent than than the Cheez It. There is also no practical difference between the Sun and the Holiday Bowl. The Gator would like to match Florida with Miami. So alternate deals are possible.
It is with great sadness I post the following from a Carolina site:
"Up until last season, you had to understand this nebulous pecking order of the second Orlando Bowl, the Citrus Bowl, Tier Ones, Tier Twos, and so forth. Now, it’s a lot muddier but easier to explain at the same time.
The ACC has eleven bowls after the CFP that have partnered with them to provide a spot, eight of them get the first picks. Those eight are:
Military Bowl, 12/27, Annapolis, MD
Holiday Bowl, 12/28, San Diego, CA
Fenway Bowl, 12/29, Boston, MA
Pinstripe Bowl, 12/29, New York, NY
Cheez It Bowl, 12/30, Orlando, FL
Duke’s Mayo Bowl, 12/30, Charlotte, NC
Gator Bowl, 12/31, Jacksonville, FL
Sun Bowl, 12/31, El Paso, TX
Now, unlike past seasons, these eight basically just work it out with themselves to figure out who they will take, likely with some conference input. The system is a little bit fairer in that it doesn’t handcuff a bowl to a particular team, and allows some flexibility for a bowl to create the best matchup. Presumably, there’s no pecking order as they all have equal weight, however there will clearly be some “I’ll scratch your back this time, you get me next year” situations. The process is actually familiar to other conferences, as the SEC basically runs this way, too.
One other thing to keep in mind is that Giglio may not be completely reliable at this time because of extraordinary family problems. His wife had to fight cancer several years although is now in remission, but just last week his boys were nearly killed in car wreck. Both needed major surgery.
