Olivari has 18 points in four games. He had 10 games of 20 or more points alone last year (we went 8-2 in those 10 games). He's 1 of 14 in 3-pointers this year.

I appreciate his effort, but you can tell he's not anywhere close to 100 percent.

I really don't think we can evaluate this year's team unless he gets back to that point. Which hopefully does happen.

Meanwhile in Vegas UH taking out their anger over yesterday’s loss on Nike U. 57-32 with 10 to go and it hasn’t been that close. Kind of what happened to us at UH after their close game vs Hofstra.

Offensive execution has been good. Poteat looks much more comfortable in this one, though you can still see the moments where he looks a bit lost.

Abysmal ball movement in the last 5-6 minutes. Everything that looked good to start the game hasn't been there. Perfectly encapsulated by Evee taking a step back 28 footer while Fiedler was posting up a 6-2 guard.

If you watched this game and guessed that we don't actually do defensive drills in practice, I might believe you. Beyond the fact that it seems not one guy can defend on an island, way too many instances of individual confusion and team breakdowns. Right now (actually basically for the entirety of Pera's tenure) we're like that semi-attractive girl with no standards. If you're in the middle of a dry spell, just swing on by to get your confidence back.

Didn’t help we went 0-7 from the field down the stretch.

48-47 Fordham. Don't worry, if you thought Fordham would slow down in the second half, they're scoring 1.25 PPP through 5 minutes.

52-49 Rice at the U12. Fiedler picked up his 3rd so Abercrombie has been forced to play the 5. Clearly giving up some size and strength, but done a decent enough job.
