There is no better time to fire a coach in the Sun Belt. Kane Womack, Butch Jones, Clay Helton, Bowden/Rich Rod...

Troy should be able to find an up and comer or a proven coach who had a bad hand at a previous job fairly easily.

Very glad we got this out of the way before December. Not feeling Rhett Lashlee, too many similarities to Chip Lindsey. Not feeling Derrick Ansley either. Not a big fan of the NFL<>College pipeline. My mind could be changed on Ansley though, much less so for Lashlee. Sumrall is the only one so far I'd be excited about.

A lot of people saying anyone would be better than Chip Lindsey. I'm curious though, does the name Ellis Johnson still make Southern Miss fans sick to their stomachs?
