I kind of agree. Good competition in the field. I wish the facility was nicer but good practice to play in a weird environment where you have to bring your own energy.

Yes. Vado has horrible shot selection. Coach needs to give him some parameters. So many dumb shots.

Yep. I've been high on him to start the year, but he's had a rough day so far every time he's touched the ball.

Definitely has a scrimmage / high school feel, but these games are important for ratings and SOS. Hope the dukes can pull this out, we don't seem to be playing with intensity.

Their rim protector has been a problem. Every drive to the rim has been contested. I think a few blocks, but even more altered shots.

Agreed... You need these kind of environments as well to grow as a team.

That was a rough, uninspired first half. We played poorly with terrible shot selection and they were HOT from 3. Hopefully they come back down to average in the second half with their shooting and we can take some better shots. We're definitely not outmatched, but not playing with the same intensity as usual.

Dukes down 34-26 at the half.

Dukes 32% on the floor, 18% from 3, 55% at the stripe. Need to get these numbers up.

Kent St: 47%, 46%, 50%

I like the level of competition and feel that it is exactly what this years' team needs. Just hate the optics of playing there.

Anyone else notice the basketball floor is called "The Kent Court"?? No wonder we're losing.

Sule should be starting. Agree with an earlier comment about Edward's, potential but not a reliable player at this point. We need another ball handler and scorer off the bench. I haven't heard the latest on Ihenancho. Hopefully he plays this year.
