No thanks. More trouble than worth. Several of my friend's kids played against him and were in FB camps with him and do not speak very highly of the young man. It appears that not much has changed at OU.

Where!? In the CFL?
He’s eligible to be drafted. Look it up.
I know...he's just not that good of a QB. OU has been much better since he's been riding the bench.
I’m going to have to disagree with you on that assessment.
Rattler has NFL talent, and he’d start for 99% of all current P5 teams. He’s on the bench only because OU has the luxury of a 5* Super Freshman who is an even better talent at QB.

He had many chances to prove how good he was on a team that always plays against inferior opponents. He has been mediocre in my opinion. OU is a behemoth (as you obviously know) and I have come to expect play similar to the likes of Mayfield, Murray and Hurts from their QBs. Seeing Rattler in there after those guys is less than inspiring.

To your text in bold, what athlete compared to the previous OU QB’s wouldn’t be considered less inspiring? Using the standard of AA, future All-Pro QBs as your basis of comparison doesn’t make Rattler a poor QB.
The comment OU is “always” playing “inferior opponents” is simply bizarre. Is that why OU’s SOS has allowed them to make the FBS NC playoffs so often? :lmfao:
I actually feel rather dirty arguing on behalf of Rattler’s talent because I honestly don’t like his personality. I’d prefer to agree with you, and poo-poo his ability, but Rattler’s play belies your opinion that he is “mediocre”. Heck, I suppose you’d have never drafted Tom Brady because (in your opinion) he wasn’t “inspiring” in college.
IMO Rattler will be drafted, in the first three rounds, if not higher. There’s no reason for him to stay at OU now.

In the games he played this year: 1500 yards, 11 TD, 5 INT, 74.7% completion .
Solid for sure. They list him at 6’1”. Thought he was a bit shorter.

This doesn't surprise me. I watched that Netflix show QB1 (I believe it was called) that featured him and two other high school QBs during their Senior year and wasn't at all a fan of the way he was.

The kid who's starting now in place of Rattler, Caleb Williams, went to my high school (school colors are Purple as well). Same school as Sean Johns and Kye Holmes too.
Check out this final play Hail Mary- the play by play guy says, "Is God Purple?...We're about to find out."

If you watch QB1 episodes on netflix, he does act like an ass and not very liked by student body at Oklahoma . . . so
