Pirates settled down after a rough start and now have the lead.

Would've figured the ECU would really miss Gardner. I know its early but they almost look better without him.

Gardner was a talent vacuum, good player but didn't make those around him better. Getting rid of him was addition by subtraction. But as you said, it's still early.

Still don't have Tabbs in the line up who averaged about 14 pts a game for BC last year and is projected to be our most prolific scorer this year.

Rumor is he's out until at least the first of the year, he's cleared to practice but not 100% game ready.

Great effort by ECU, this is the type of game they used to get blown out in.

Tough way to end the game, but if Tabbs comes back healthy this ECU squad definitely won’t be at the bottom of the league

Very impressed with this team, hate we lost but I think tonight proved we’re gonna be a tough out for anybody.

Yeah have to say that, with the game actually being on tv, I'm glad our performance wasn't embarrassing.

It's a step in the right direction. Same as the football team; between being blown out by teams and and blowing teams out, there will be a lot of games like last night. At least it's progress.
