ULM Baseball Turf
[Image: FEb2_88UcAIg8h4?format=jpg&name=4096x4096] Turf is being installed. Grass took a beating. Drainage was terrible.

People can say what they want about turf, but its durable, you can adjust the grip, and it always looks nice, not as nice as the real deal but ya know.

USM got turf 2 seasons ago and it's been well received by most. Our coach mentioned that the right field area where the tarp is pulled after use had gotten so bad that fly balls in BP would get lost as it was that soggy. USM had several Friday games about 3-4 years ago ppd to Saturday after heavy rains on Thursday night with perfect Friday weather. At first it was like WTH but then when coach Berry explained the drainage issues it made sense. Only issue I feel like we've had is it appears the mound area may need replacing every year or two

03-yawn I like having a grass field, but more power to y’all with the turf.

Congrats on the upgrade. Field turf = less rain outs.

Renovations to the stadium as well with a field level area that will start with tables and chairs and then have chair seating installed in next phase.
