OVC has SEMO, but it feels ultimately that its not a huge benefit to you guys unless Tennessee Tech and Tennessee State stay put.

That is one of the reasons why I listed the ASun as the best choice for LR if the MVC isn’t a possibility.

I don't have an answer- you seem to know more than any of us most of the time. I would hate for the Ohio Valley to lose the 2 teams in the Nashville area since they would be a close drive (I am unclear if this would affect their automatic bid to the NCAA tournament). But, still, all the schools in the OVC are driving distance from Little Rock, although Morehead State is a haul at 8:30 hours. Some have suggested that UCA might leave the ASun to move to FBS, but I have heard nothing from the UCA side to indicate this is in the cards. The ASun certainly appears to be much more likely to survive, than the OVC, if further realignment takes place. I do think it is important for us that UCA stays in the league. I'd be fine with a "stable" OVC. There are still so many moving parts that I don't know how we commit to a move at the moment. I think it might take the OVC announcing several additions (let's say LR, Southern Indiana, Western Ill) at the same to make us comfortable with the move.

I’m glad our administration was aiming at the MVC. Not much we can do if they don’t want us.
