They want to get rid of oil to control you.

Get rid of gas powered cars and the government has you buy the balls. That electric car won't get you far in a natural disaster or when they cut the power because you are not vaccinated.

RE: Emptying Reserves
The worst part is that the oil in the reserve can only be used once. Once you use it, it's gone. It's not like increasing production, where you can produce every day until the wells play out.

China doesn't have to fight us in physical war. They already won. We are their b*tch as long as we have the idiots in charge running the show and ruining the country.

This ^

Anyone who still believes that our republic hasn't been usurped is a fool.

This and every other action they've taken would be consistent with with creating vulnerabilities, perhaps paving the way for a true invasion.

Using the reserves to lower gasoline prices is like giving a long-haul trucker a gallon of diesel to help with his fuel cost for a cross-country trip.

And 3.2M barrels is a paltry sum.

This will make absolutely ZERO impact on anything.

Symbolism over substance.

Yep, and add all to this is the fact the Oil Companies are investing and making other products and cutting back on fuel production due to the most stringent regulations ever placed on them by the Bozo Administration. It’s almost like I’m going to punish you for making fuel for Americans to burn. I had been told by a reliable source on site subcontractor that Lyondell Citgo owned by Venezuela had run out of oil to import into US. Not that there’s not oil in Venezuela but that since the Socialist Government took over and threw out the Big Oil Companies there is no one to maintain Petrochemical plants or knows how to maintain the Drilling equipment. I can only imagine how many people are starving over there. To use Candace Owens Twitter post just in another country.

RE: Emptying Reserves
What’s interesting is I watched a report the other day discussing the the trade war between China and Australia. Didn’t know there was one TBH.

Anyway, Pooh apparently got mad over a few sentences the Australian PM uttered over COVID origins so the CCP put some high tariffs on some stuff and banned some other imports, one being coal. Problem is that Australia is China’s biggest source of imported coal, especially metallurgical coal used in steel making and other industrial processes.

This report placed the start of the supply chain issues on this coal ban as China was forced to shutter factories. It got bad enough that China had to cave and take some of the coal they banned, but the ripple was already in the water.

This highlights why China has to be careful no matter how much they flex. They have far more dependence on others than they like to acknowledge. They have to maintain globally high economic growth or the house of cards that is their banking system will collapse quickly.
