Who on this team played against a good EMU zone??? They sucked last year and our whole team is basically underclassman. Oh thats right, Saunders has. I listened on the radio. Knew their poor shooting was why we were in it at half. I hate Coach K coached teams. We are talented... but id think a few other MAC Coaches would have us competing a bit better.

Our starters outscored their starters, but one dude had 29 and a kid off the bench had 18. Our bench had 7.

Looking back at the 1979-80 schedule. We played Michigan, Indiana, Butler, Washington and Northwestern in OOC. We beat UM, Butler and Northwestern. We’ve fallen so far.

I caught the last 14 minutes. Definitely agree about the Saunders comments. Gonna see
a lot of zones now. Hope he can get into rotations - need for his 37% 3 percentage should have been forseen. Also, Carcoana needs to slow down at the stripe.

In a way, the first loss of the season is the hardest, from a fan's perspective. Before that first loss, the sky is the limit. After the first loss, reality sets in.

Interesting stat from the game... The Rockets have started including +/- rating in their box scores this season. (+/- is the delta points scored while the player is on the floor - long time stat used in hockey, but only recently catching on in basketball.) Of the players that played significant time (10+ minutes) the player with the best +/-? ... Ra'Heim Moss, with a -4. Worst was Kooper Jacobi with -22. No one has a positive score.
