RE: Super 7 Championship
AK upgraded talent at every transfer spot; the corresponding player he got at the position is more talented than the one that departed. With that said, I liked all the ones that left, and definitely wouldn’t have minded at all if TSG or Kassim had chosen to stay and believe they would have been fine contributors this season at UAB. But I think everyone, including them, found a better fit.

Super 7 Championship

That was the same thought last year as well. Thompson defeats Hoover to play Auburn in the finals. Auburn would have won if the Auburn coach had any football sense whatsoever.

I’m going to the Thompson/Hoover game Friday night. My son is in Thompson’s marching band. Hoping for a Thomson win. He really wants to march at Protective Stadium.

I know Super 7 teams are breathing a sigh of relief to play at Protective Stadium on the 3rd instead of Legion Field

...well, if anything this may give them some thought of 'coordination' should the situation arise again in three years... but that reminds me, does the AAC have a 'designated' championship game spot each season, or do they also use the 'best team' stadium?

Super 7 Championship
I won’t be going to our last game Friday but I will be going to the state finals all three days. My son will be marching in one of them and I’ll get to see good football in Protective Stadium. Lord knows we haven’t seen it there yet.

He’s a freshman. Clarinet this year. Next year he will play clarinet for marching and saxophone for jazz band.

Good for him. Played sax/baritone sax in middle school.

Super 7 Championship
If the Thompson team that played Hoover during the regular season shows up, Central will win in a somewhat close game. If the Thompson team that played Hoover in the semi-finals shows up, it will be a blow out win for Thompson.

Field looks great, glad to see BHM get behind this and not just roll out the UAB markings on the field. Makes it look so much more professional.

Which is what will be said all over the state after it is over. Good pub for Protective.

Maybe this and the USFL and Legion will help UAB attendance a little. The more people who can go down there and see that it's nice, they won't die and that the area is actually pretty happening and easy to access, the greater chance UAB might have to get a few of those visitors to a football game.
