Glad to see it.

Ranked Houston upsetting Cincinnati in the CCG almost certainly jumps SDSU and UTSA, meaning AAC gets the NY6 bowl.

With the NY6 bowl paying the conference $4 million dollars, and "performance shares" being ~$1.4 million in recent years, the NY6 bid on its own is worth a coordinator's salary to every AAC school. Even the tradeoff from being the #2 non-contract-bowl conference but still getting the NY6 bid is $236k for each AAC school.

On a neutral field what do you think the line would be for houston / MS state? I kinda feel they would be the favorites and don’t know who would win.

And the joke will get better. Lets say we play Cinci within a few points, but eventually lose to a top-5 Cinci team in a tight single score game. Im sure that wont be considered a "good" loss---and Houston will fall from the rankings behind P5 teams with twice as many losses (or more).

Well you guys could beat Memphis this week who beat Mississippi State but we know it won’t matter.

Houston is probably the second or third worst 9-1 team in the country tbf ahead of Louisiana Lafayette. SDSU and Houston are pretty tight. I’m inclined to say Miss St. would squeak it out over Houston. Memphis could very well make it all moot on Friday. Houston has taken care of business though so credit to them.

Maybe Houston vs Mississippi State in a bowl game would settle it

As of last week Mississippi State would be about a 1 point favorite against Houston on a neutral field according to Westgate Power Ratings. These aren't gospel but give a decent idea as far as spreads.
