Not a good game at all, but I’ll never, ever apologize for beating our in-state rival. Let’s go get the Michigan MAC trophy next week.

That was an awesome call. Didn’t think CC had it in him.

Curious to what the play was?

RE: Game Day: WMU (Senior Day)
How did we win that game, wow.

Congrats to the team. 7 wins secures a bowl and that was a nail-biter. Some thoughts.....

-I mentioned the young D-line guys pre-game and Payton Price delivered with a great pass deflection in the 4th leading to a pick. Great job Peyton

-Ryland executed perfectly.

-I cant believe how bad we were on 3rd down leading to all those field goals.
Will we see Cannon back for redzone options? Winning that way never happens. Glad it did

-How Lester kept the ball out of their playmakers hands (i.e. Sky Moore) is weird. Glad they did and glad we took it away. Lester.....wow he stunk.

- O-Line played much better

-Wanted to see more Beydoun, but we won so whatever.

Great job. Ugly win is still a win I guess. Much better play in the 2nd half. Happy we got to 7. Could this team win 8?

What is amazing is how every game is different, so unpredictable.

We lit it up vs. Texas State and then scored 13 points vs. Miami.

Then after going crazy vs. the N.W. Ohio teams (scoring over 100 points) we struggled to score TDs tonight.

Jet sweep to Beydoun out of the wildcat from Evans.

Since I was not able to watch the game, thought I’d read your comments. Sounds like I am glad I missed it. No matter how they won, a minimum 7 win season is solid! A Michigan-MAC trophy would be icing on the cake, but I am already content with a bowl game and winning record. (And ironically, the best part of this season is it was not good enough for someone to poach Creighton for… kidding… but kind of serious)

Go EMU!!

Agreed Nickle, Lester's 2nd half plan was brutal. I would have the ball in Sky Moore's hands as much as possible.

Would love 8 wins. Im confident CC stays. He's got family roots now and just signed the extension. I think he is the type of guy that wont leave until we win the MAC. Love that guy.

The W made it worth sitting in the cold for this one.

Fans in the stands were hype after the win! No consternation over an ugly win at Rynearson.

I mean, Skyy Moore had 12 catches…

That said, Lester has clearly brought the program down to where it was with Cubit.

That was a heckuva play for that senior. His final play on the Rynearson field was definitely memorable.

Just got home from the game. Too hoarse from all the yelling to post much. WOW!

P.S. Letter jackets arrived yesterday...it was nice seeing some of the guys out for injuries wearing them on the sidelines.

Really proud of these guys for coming from behind.
This season has 8 more quarters. Would love to see what the team would accomplish in 8 ‘perfect’ quarters.

RE: Game Day: WMU (Senior Day)
On Senior Night Hamilton and Myrick both shined bright. Also key plays from Michael Smith Jr.. and Rush. We used to say that CC and other EMU coaches found ways to lose. This year they found ways to win. Next goal is to win the MAC Michigan trophy. An unsung key to the game is how we ran out the clock.

Wow! What a game!!! It was very cold in Rynearson but I am so glad I watched it live! Two teams fought hard for the win and CC and the team found a way to get the victory!!

I believe we may have had more rushing yards than WMU???

RE: Game Day: WMU (Senior Day)
The defense has been criticized this year and at times justly so but defense won this game and the Miami one as well.
