RE: ‘Yellowstone’ Reveals Much About America, Just Not What Critics Say
I really like 1883 too. But I'm more into the "Western" feel to it, and honestly hadn't really picked up on any demographic check list you mention. Hadn't looked for it either, so don't doubt there could be some of that.

Eh, it’s mostly subtleties I notice. I could list them, but no point. It does have the 17 yr old 100 lb female superhero, but she’s nice to look at. It just seems to be moving rather slowly the last couple of episodes. Unlike the way it began. I guess if they get where their going too fast, there won’t be any story left.

I suspect the first season will be enitrely about the grueling road to simply get to where they are going. Then--once the get to Yellowstone---there are plenty of stories to tell about what it took to survive and build an empire there.

Hang in there...I find out it started slowly but it has really picked up. There was a surprise death in episode 5. If you have a subscription to 24/7 sports boards you get a free subscription to Paramount+.
