American Cincinnati at ECU – 3:30pm, ABC (Fri.)
USF at UCF – 3:30pm, ESPN (Fri.)
Houston at UConn – 12pm, CBSSN
Navy at Temple – 12pm, ESPNU
Tulsa at SMU – 4pm, ESPN2
Tulane at Memphis – 7:30pm, ESPNU
ABC game the day after Thanksgiving. That's pretty damn solid. Curious - any chance of a full house for this one? Students won't be there, but ECU has some nice momentum....

Zero chance. Drawing home games over fall break is the worst for attendance. Those who are there, however, will be screaming.

You fools better not lose to SMU this weekend.
Nope. Need Cincy to lose to SMU this weekend and SMU to lose to Tulsa the next. If ECU beats Navy, the winner of Cincy @ ECU would go to the Conference Championship, also on ABC.

Pass the Purple Kool-Aid
Wow I didn't realize that Cindy hadn't actually locked up a spot yet.

Actually, I'm slightly surprised Navy-Temple got onto ESPNU.
Which means I haven't had to subscribe to ESPN+ this football season.
Then I looked again - NO ESPN+ over Thanksgiving weekend for the American. Then I looked back over the year: by my count, with the CCG on ABC, we're at 5 ABC games, 10 ESPN games, 11 ESPN2 games, and 14 ESPNU games in the conference inventory.
There are the 40 games on linear -- meaning that that aspect of the original contract didn't change upon UConn's departure. Which also lends support to the argument that the total dollar amount will remain in place in a couple years, after we trade 40% of viewers for 30% more total inventory.
There are 26 on ABC/ESPN/ESPN2 -- more than the 20 guarantee.
The 5 on ABC are on target.
I'm going to go ahead and say it, "closer than the experts think". This is the type of game that ECU tends to win under Houston. They played well against Cincy in 2019, beat SMU like a drum last season, it's going to be weird for a lot of people.

Yes. Let’s start with Navy. They usually beat us like a drum. It would be nice to get a Win against them.

The new American needs ECU to be strong.
Still pissed from the Summy choke job in 09.
That wasn't a choke job. That was 4 eventual NFL D linemen that all but killed your QB most of the game. I was surprised he walked off the field.
Not a choke. Just a missed play by LJ Castille. Perfect throw by Keenum went right through his hands, otherwise Coogs would likely come away with the win of a very exciting, well-fought, back-n-forth game. Oh well, woulda shoulda coulda.
