No game every played has been officiated perfect. It's just part of the deal. That play was irrelevant to UC's victory. They won the game when they got off the buss by just being the bigger, faster and more experienced team on the field. I can't remember my prediction on a game being more exact. I said +17 with UC dominating the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Even with the breaks this was never really doubt.

It made no difference but it took away a hell of a play by the kid who blocked it.

RE: ECU-Cindy Collision Course
I knew the UC D was good but seeing them in person put things in new light: our WRs could not get consistent separation, our OL was no match for the Cinci DL and our RBs could not find lanes up the middle or on the ends. It was brutal.

That said, ECU still played well. We made some mistakes and you could tell that the stage was bigger than what we’re used to. The butt kicking provided good lessons and should help us in the future.
