How are teams picked between the Fenway and Military bowls? Does one pick before the other, does the conference try to create the best match-up in each game?

There are different payouts between bowls, but I haven't seen Fenway's publicly provided.

I want ECU-Va Tech in the Military Bowl. They need one more to become bowl eligible. That would be fun.

Funny, because I will be at Annapolis to watch the Coogs in the Military Bowl!

Joking aside, I've seen forecasts with SMU in Annapolis, and Houston in Boston for the Fenway Bowl. Those seem to be the top non-NY6 bowls for the AAC. Both can be expected to be cold, dreary, environments, with middling ACC opponents. For now, SMU and UH should be the most likely AAC teams for the games, top two runners-up from the AAC. I don't see how one or another could be matched in either particular bowl.
