Men's nationally ranked #2 Tulsa soccer team took home the title on Sunday. I know no-one here really cares but they have a chance to take home the National Title. Currently 15-1-1 and ranked #2 in the nation.

For what it’s worth, my school doesn’t even play men’s soccer but I do like to follow it.

If you happen to run in to defending champ Marshall, don’t sweat it, they’re a little off their top game this year.

We got the 6 seed in a tough bracket.

First round bye. May have to play 15-1 Missouri State our 1st game (I think we're their only loss). Could see Marshall in the quarter or semifinals I think.

Most likely it will be Missouri St followed by West Virginia then onto Marshall/Georgetown, then my guess would be Washington/St Louis...and finally Oregon St in championship. That would be my guess as how it plays out.

Creighton upset Mo State so Tulsa will host Creighton on Sunday in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament.

I think this is a good match up for Tulsa. We beat Creighton and Missouri St both this season. Creighton 2-1 and Mo St 3-0. I was actually more scared of facing Mo St due to when they played us before they were down their best player and a couple others. Creighton is fast, really fast but they are sloppy. That plays into our strengths. We are fast too but we are probably one of the best teams in the nation with controlling the ball. We play through our defense and GK a lot. We will wear you out and then take advantage of it. We can run just as fast as Creighton can but we don't tend to be sloppy.

Charlotte, Tulsa, SMU make a pretty good core. I'm old enough to remember belt fans trying to claim Marshall was good enough they would pull those p5 teams into soccer with them. Again the comparison falls short. #wearenotthesame

Don’t forget SMU has hosted the final four.

TU advanced to the 3rd round by beating Creighton 1-0. Tulsa will host West Virginia I believe... Marshall was knocked out tonight.

FIU was also eliminated. Kentucky is now the only CUSA team still in the bracket.
