Joe Pridgen?
Noticed Pridgen hasn't showed up in the box score. Any idea why?

We don't know why. He didn't go on the road trip to Colgate and Georgia State.
Hopefully, he plays vs. BU on Tuesday.

Holy cow. The guy will be 35 years old (sarc) by the time he finishes his college career!

RE: Joe Pridgen?
I'm clearly not in the know, but was this:
NU knew it'd be a long shot to get eligibility but tried anyway.
NU did not know that it would be hard to get him eligibility and thus failed.
It was actually a straight forward process and NU blew it due to incompetence.
Or some other weird circumstance?

My understanding is that with players granted an extra year of eligibility last season and with the year being so out of whack with the transfer portal, they would be able to get a waiver on Pridgen.
But his “extra” year was his transfer from Holy Cross to UNCW.
This seriously hampers NU’s chance to win this season.

Gotta be honest, i loved him as a player, and was livid when they let him walk. I was half hoping he'd destroy us this year.
Anyways, good luck this year, except, of course when you play us

Yes, it does. In the frontcourt it means that Djogo has to be the player who showed up against Georgia State and that Stucke reaches the advertized expectations. It would also help if Tyreek was available. McClintock looked like had just ran a marathon near the end of the Georgia State game.

Unless it's someone of Reggie Lewis caliber, losing one player should not negatively impact NUs Outlook. Seems most of the players have similar abilities, no one is a star. Good coaching should overcome the loss of Pridgen.
