Ike wouldn't mind seeing Fuente return
He turned it around once, Ike believes he could do it again

CRS - Points per Game: 31.0 (44th of 128) 2020 and Points per Game: 31.0 (44th of 128) 2021 is not as exciting. I am not calling for his head. I'm just sayin'.

This is the symptom. What is the cause? Is it because RS has no killer instinct? We should have run up the score on UTSA. But for some reason, he seems to think that he can just nurse a 14 point lead in the third quarter to a win. But the most aggravating thing is he seems to be of the opinion that it doesn't matter weather you win by 1 point... as long as you win. That's true of Alabama, Clemson, and Texas... And the NFL. Not for anyone else. Is this a problem whose roots are based in the fact that he came from the NFL?

It would seem so.

I thought he would carry on with the brand built by the previous coaches. I knew after the Penn State game that the creativity was not there. I was still willing to overlook this and give him a chance. I still am holding out hope but it becomes dim

The 03-lmfao01-wingedeagle emojis are not enough. There needs to be a clown emoji.

It had nothing to do with “creativity”. As I recall we gave up nearly 400 yards rushing.

Inaccurate. Plenty of people are talking about it. Maybe not (right now) the ones that can do anything about it, but you get enough people not going to the games, and that tends to convince those in charge that a change is needed.

Hyperbole
No one of any influence, and very few who will put their real name on it (i.e. only social media tough guys).

I tend to agree with you 87

I've said this over & over, the criteria for being removed as HC for football & MBB is almost entirely financial. If ticket sales remain steady our admin is loathe to fire a HC without some egregious moral or cheating issue. Tubby was removed simply because people weren't buying tickets. Sure the avg fan had all sorts of grippes but if ticket sales had not tanked he'd still be the coach. Those that matter when it comes to hiring & firing are looking at financial results. Granted ticket sales somewhat follow performance but if season ticket sales remain steady, HCs are generally secure in their position at Memphis.
