Congrats Dukes. I hope we’re better than we looked tonight. Awful shooting, sloppy passing and too many second chances points given up. Keyser finally decided he might want to win and made it a game near the end but Dukes wouldn’t be denied. Props to JMU and Coach Byington though. They’ve got some players and were real scrappy on defense. The disruptive D and home crowd seemed to have gotten to a Monarch team with a lot of new pieces still trying to learn to play together.

No you guys earned the right to smack so go ahead. The day ODU cuts the lump called JJ our MBB will start trending in the right direction.

Both teams definitely had a lot of sloppy moments, hopefully just a matter of being so early in the season. The first game against real competition for both.

Crowd was decent, students especially have done their part these two games. Hopefully these first two being Carlow and then the same time as a football game are why there have been so many empty season ticket holder seats. Man this new arena can get loud though, can't wait to see how loud it gets when it's packed against UVA and hopefully Byington can keep it rolling to get attendance up more and more without the need for a P5. Haven't seen the attendance anywhere yet, wondering what it was.
