im paraphrasing, but in so many words, the gist of it was "Listen, this aint no Auburn with 4/5 star athletes. Coastal played the easiest schedule. They aren't ranked any longer after this." and added, "i dont doubt my players, our time was coming (not sure if he's referring to the payback from last year), we faced Coastal ranked playing at their home on their own homecoming, it was really special."

but CSE also complimented that Coastal is an extremely well-coached team and a tough opponent. so I guess it's up to the people to interpret his meanings.

Seems like another Ben Moore bad take to me. I watched it and didn't seem like anything too out of the ordinary. Maybe there is some bad blood there, I don't know, but I don't think you can draw that conclusion from that interview.

Coastal doesn't have the same caliber of athletes that a ranked Auburn does. Should that be offensive?

He mentioned not being able to hear, wanting a better location, and should have had some ear buds after being interrupted by noise. He's right. I would hope that there is a better location available but I'd imagine he'd use it if there was. The GSU media relations staff should have provided him with better equipment. I've seen our coaches in similar position while conducting post game interviews at other schools so it doesn't seem too surprising though. I didn't see him demand a media room or anything.

It's also cyclic. Eventually App State and Louisiana will make a hire that hurts their program for about 3 seasons which begins to hurt recruiting, etc. which makes it harder to win.

Hiring coaches are games of luck because you'll never know until they get out there and begin coaching.
