Open Thread CFP - 11/13
It's Big Ten Day on ABC with a doubleheader, Michigan at Penn State at noon and Purdue at Ohio State at 3:30pm.

Purdue handed Iowa its first loss on Oct. 16 and Michigan State its first loss last Saturday. If Ohio State doesn't believe Purdue can beat Ohio State, they should watch the 2018 game tapes. If Ohio State takes Purdue lightly and loses, it's their own fault. No excuses. Go out on the field and take care of business. You can't afford another Oregon. If you don't take Purdue seriously, they'll beat you. I shouldn't be playing favorites here but when Purdue has three losses they're not helping the Big Ten get into the Playoff and they've already hurt two teams' Playoff chances. Like it or not, if Purdue wins the Big Ten Championship this year, no one from the Big Ten is going to the Playoff.

And I should root for Michigan over Penn State then right? But it's my alma mater. And I'll believe Michigan has a legitimate chance to win the Big Ten when they can actually beat Ohio State. So we are...! Penn State broke their three game losing streak at Maryland last week, can they get a huge win? Is Sean Clifford 100%? If the Penn State that beat Wisconsin and Auburn shows up, Penn State can beat Michigan. Hopefully Illinois was the exception.

Over in the Big Ten West, you have Minnesota at Iowa with both teams tied for first in the Big Ten West. Minnesota was stunned by Illinois last week but still control their own destiny (they and Wisconsin do, Minnesota and Wisconsin meet in Minneapolis during Rivalry Week). Minnesota beat Purdue earlier in the season. Iowa lost to both Purdue and Wisconsin so they need both of them to lose a game to get to Indy.

In other games, Michigan State hosts Maryland, Wisconsin hosts Northwestern, and Rutgers goes to Indiana as Indiana tries for its first Big Ten win. Nebraska and Illinois, who played Week 0, are both off.

So at what point did Indiana just fall apart? Did Tennessee break them in the bowl game?

Wisconsin is a nice looking 3-loss team. Actually, I think they are the best in the country now.

Sorry, I screwed that up! PSU best 3-loss team, Wisconsin right behind them and then Auburn. After today, if those d!cks up north win, Wisconsin will be tops.

Man does Indiana suck this year. 38-3 at home?? Why couldn't Illinois have played Indiana this year? Better yet, why couldn't Temple have played Indiana this year?

The Ohio State fans probably don't want to cheerlead about their own team so I will. That team that beat Purdue looks like the #2 team in the country more than Alabama does. If you don't think blowing out Purdue is a big deal, just ask Michigan State and Iowa.

Hey Gameday, you haven't been to Columbus all year. Two top 10 teams not good enough for you? You didn't come for the Oregon game, you didn't come for the Ohio State game, you need to come for the Michigan State game!
