The good new is this team starts playing for tangible achievements starting next week. Beat SMU, clinch an AAC title game spot. Win both host the game.

It’s now time to play for a championship against better competition. I am not saying the games will be easy but the goal is just winning the game instead of style points.

USF came back earlier in season at BYU and only lost by 8 after being down 21-0 in first quarter. We have great experience and depth on defense but this year we just can't seen to get off the field on important opportunities to finish off opponents. Last couple years Jarrell White and Wiggins seemed to make those plays and we really miss them. Sanders definitely has been a disappointment; we need him to play smarter and be a force for the balance of year.

UC did not cover for four games, that tells me the oddsmakers have no idea about this team, they have been wrong for four weeks....04-cheers

I think Sanders is going to have a couple huge games down the stretch.

I'm thinking that we should be in pretty good shape after this year at many position groups. The backup RB's look really good. The OL should be really good next year, and LB group looks good also. The WR group looks good too.

Hope so. I rewatched the D and when he wasn’t completely running by the play, USF’s RT was bludgeoning him. We were better when they put Vann over there.

Van Fossen is fun to watch. Any word on his arm injury? He looked ike he broke something when he came to the bench.

To me it looked like a stinger that you get in the shoulder. Hopefully that is it and just need some rest.

I’ll never understand stopping doing what works so well just because you get up a couple scores. Makes zero sense.

I am also perplexed at how the staff has somehow turned Myjai into a non-entity.

I think Myjai has turned himself into a non-entity, reading his own press clippings maybe. To me he has become a me first type player. On that QB fumble play, all he had to do was get on the ball, but he tries to run with it, before picking it up. How many yards did that cost us?

If I had a dollar for every time he missed a TFL or a sack this season I'd be rich. And for the love of pete stop jumping off sides every game (he got called once last night, arguably there were three occasions were he jumped).

Yeah I think it is on him more than the coaches. He's probably only a few inches away from another half dozen or more sacks. But that's football. I ain't sayin' it's easy, but I think he just needs to find a way to finish better. I think a few more blitzes would help everyone and I'm not sure why we don't do it more. The Sauce blitz we've finally started using has worked very well. I think QBs are so used to looking elsewhere for targets that they don't even see him coming.

I haven't been paying much attention on who is coming in, but it seems like they need to get a little beefier on the DL.

It looked like a wrist/forearm. Looked like the international sign for about to have a cast put on it.

He was holding it. But I am going by the way he was moving he had the whole side of his body down from the shoulder down I think it could go either way but I am hoping for the best case.

That early bye gave us the time to scheme for ND and it worked.

We really need to stop playing the prevent so the D can get off the field and avoid the 900 play days that are leading to these injuries that could be avoided if the D wasn't out there
