once again UC fails to stop the run but hangs on.

My man the South Florida grad says they are basically a team of starters and then if someone gets hurt or tired they search the bench for anyone who can play the position. They should wear down very easily. I look for a slow start and a gradual pulling away in the second half.

I think UC plays a lot better today and wins 38 to 20 in a game that really isn’t close but we complain when the Cats give up a late score.

When is the last time UC gave up 31 points? even if they struggle against the run USF isn't scoring a ton. The fear is they burn clock and UC gets fewer opportunities. I'd be stunned beyond belief if USF score over 30 points.

How many guys on the roster are from Florida? Did anyone watch the Ravens game last night? They made a big deal about how many guys were from Florida and mentioned how they may have been "distracted", which resulted in them laying an egg against the Dolphins.

I'm joking. I know CLF will keep them focused.

In all seriousness, their rushing attack might give some fits, but USF's defense is terrible. I agree with Mark that their rushing will limit UC's TOP, which will keep it from being a blowout.

I'm trying hard not to visualize two kickoff returns for TD's tonight that Houston witnessed last week. Still, UC seems to be in a bit of a late season funk against inferior competition and I fear that continues tonight:

UC 35 (includes two missed field goals)
USF 26 (includes a special teams touchdown and two made field goals).

I'll just hope it's the blowout victory we've all been waiting for instead. If so, I'll sleep better tonight.

Offense continues inconsistent execution and mistakes. Run defense picks up where it left off last week. Florida weather and weird kick off time/day disorient us further... the dream ends tonight. USF 31 UC 24.

If the offense struggles against USF’s D, just go ahead and book rooms in Birmingham now. USF’s D is a bad GCL defense.

Screw it. No way this team struggles for a 4th straight week against overmatched competition.

How does whatever D we play affect how many points the offense scores? No matter what D we play, USF gets 17?
