With a big signature win by Mbb and a WBB win against those pesky birds from abNormal to start the week, then a comeback win against balls tate it was a good week. Now with a tournament win for our soccer heros it has been a great week. A win against the hoosiers and Harvard in basketball would be a bonus, but a win Sunday in soccer against Georgia State would cap off one of the best weeks in HIU history. In soccer we Huskie Fans have a team that may get a bye and home field advantage to get to the NCAA final four for the NCAA soccer championship. Lets go HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking the exact same thing this morning. Men's and Women's B-Ball, Football and now soccer. What a week so far. I don't remember the last time there were so many big wins so close together. Congrats to all the Huskie teams and lets keep this week going.
Tonight, I am going to my first UNR basketball game. I think they play San Diego State. Anyway, I will be watching on Sunday from home. Go Huskies!!!

All head coaching hires by a certain Sean T. Frazier. Just something to keep in mind.

GO HUSKIES!

ROLL DAWGS!

NIU Volleyball takes on Buffalo tonight (defeated them 3-2 yesterday in the opening match of the double-header) on Victor E. Court at 6pm CT. Ladies are looking to secure the sixth and final spot in the MAC Volleyball Tournament.

GO HUSKIES!

Actually "next week," but Sunday WBB is at Harvard (ESPN+ at 1 p.m. CST). Be nice to see them at 2-0 before home hosting Bradley on Nov. 22.

Plus, as NIU is the "Harvard of the Midwest", it would be nice to knock off the other Harvard...

GO HUSKIES!

Ladies swept Buffalo and clinched a spot in the MAC Volleyball Tournament.

At the moment, NIU sits as the sixth-seed. If they win their last match and Toledo losses their last match they would end up tied but I have no idea which way the tiebreaker would break (I believe NIU and Toledo split their regular season matches).

So more than likely they will be the 6-seed but possibly may have an outside chance at the 5-seed.
