We will. We got a ton of shooters. We need to find a consistent back up to Duren. Dandridge needs to learn how to play more than one game out of every five.

RE: Where are they now?
Mr Bates knocked down two Treys, one from way down town
Ike would like to see ten TREYS a game with the acceptable percentages, we do that and Ike will see u Dudes at the

We must Bust the TREY BALL

RE: Where are they now?
Boogie 11 points vs Temple after a great first game.

Played 34 minutes...So cant put that one on Penny\Lomax\playing time issues.

But I did watch his highlights of the first game and he looked like a much improved player...We shall see.

RE: Where are they now?
I haven't watched USC, but I hear Boogie is NOT playing PG.
The supposed issue here was Lomax was stealing minutes from him at PG.
So it's not the same.
I think it will probably work well for Boogie playing close to home as a 2-guard. He will have a good college career then play professionally somewhere as a 2-guard (other than the NBA).

Correct.

Ethan Anderson is their point guard.

I don't know...

He has a shot...He has shown flashes.

But his ceiling is likely a rotational player in the league unless his shot becomes curry'esque.

247 transfer portal Memphis

It shows we had 25 transfers out, 12 transfers in
No doubt, some of this net loss was due to the extra COVID year and scholly management by Memphis.
According to the site, 12 of our transfers out never found a home.

Looking for stats on the remaining 13 transfers out show a lot of the guys just aren't playing on their new teams, for whatever reason.
Only found stats on 5 guys:
Tahj Washington, USC is playing. Getting good usage, but fewer yards and many fewer td's than he had here last year.
TJ Carter, TCU is playing and has 1 int. Stats look comparable to what he did here as a frosh (and that he never duplicated as a soph-jr).
Jojo Dorceus, Tulane has stats comparable every year here.
Tyce Daniel, So Illinois is having his best year ever. Much more utilization.
Everitt Cunningham, So Miss is playing some but not duplicating what he did here as a frosh.
I am confident Obinna Eze, TCU is also playing but no real stats on OL.

Meanwhile, for our transfers in, we have 6 on the 2-deep and 1 known injury.
Jakari Robinson, Cincy is playing.
Joe Doyle, UTK. We know the spot he's been in all year.
Devontae Dobbs, Mich St - playing.
Gunnell, Arizona - hurt.
Julian Barnett, Mich St - playing.
Parrish, LSU - backup QB
For some reason Eddie Lewis, Rutgers is not listed.

All in all about a wash?

Eddie played two years at Rutgers redshirting his sophomore year then went to Butler for a year. I don't believe he was counted as a Transfer Portal guy.

I see where former Memphis OT, Obinna Eze, is with the Detroit Lions. Spent some time with TCU in between Memphis and Detroit.

I enjoyed Obinna. Seemed like a good dude. Then one day he snapped at me and called me a racist while I was helping my little niece get an autograph at an on-field meet and greet after Spring Game. Out of the blue. Weird. Never seen him the same.

Felt like a dare from a teammate. "Bet you won't say 'racist' to an old white in Memphis polo!" At least I hope so.

I would NEVER want a career that was dependent on 18-22 yo boys. Especially ones away from home for the 1st time. Certainly some lacking home training. Sounds like a nightmare to me. That being said, it's a risk to put our players faces and voices out there in these meet-and-greet scenarios. Seems to work out, as most of our players are good, hard-working kids and their likeable personalities come out.

Seems completely out of character for him. And I was around him a good bit while he was here.

Speaking of highly rated o-line dudes, this big fella committed yesterday. He is the highest rated o-line commit we’ve had since Eze in 2017. Silverfield is putting together another monster recruiting class. He might very well bring in the highest rated recruiting class in school history for the 3rd year in a row.

That's a sad legacy for him.

He went undrafted. Makes you wonder if he would have been better off staying at Memphis.

Thanks for the link. These recruiting classes are going to start paying off soon. Maybe this year.

Time is getting away from me. Did he play a year at TCU? What about the Carter kid?
