Different teams but yea should be a good one.

Houston would win by at least 40 points.

I hate to be that guy, but Houston didn't even score 40 points on a historically bad Temple football team.

I seriously doubt that they are beating ANY undefeated team by 40 points.

But what do I know? I fight for the Cherry & the White!

Truth. Imo UTSA vs UH would be a coin flip.

you can always spot the newbs in the room. they act like they've been around all the time, but don't know nothing about history.

UH football has accomplished some mighty things. If you don't know, you better ask someone. 02-13-banana

UTSA plays a C-USA schedule, Houston plays a much much much much much tougher schedule in the AAC. It wouldn’t even be close and you know it.

Houston's SOS is 125
UTSA's is 128...

I always find it funny that teams the AAC will use this argument against CUSA and turn right back around and cry foul when they are not ranked...

Just comical that they cant see it.
SOS is an annoying metric. Too many people do SOS rankings and they all have different formulas. This site has us at #81 and yall at #123.

https://www.teamrankings.com/college-foo...h-by-other

that website has three different SOS ratings as well. I was just going by why ESPN showed.

USTA is good team. Those of us that follow the game know that. YOU should enjoy that and stop YOUR flexing. It's the mark of someone with an inferiority complex.

Well that game sucked for UTSA fans.

Great season but UTSA is overrrated losing to a mediocre North Texas team and struggling against UAB and Southern Miss.

Good luck in staying in the rankings.

LOL I prolly shouldn't pile on... but maybe this will end up being a learning moment for one particular UTSA fan...

I do believe they will be needing to change their... um... not sure what it's called... battle cry?? Anyway, regardless, it needs to be changed from "Beep Beep" to "Weep Weep" tonight.

And North Texas isn’t even in the same universe as Houston. So I stand by the fact that Houston would hang 40-50 points on UTSA.

One thing it points out is that even for a good team---a undefeated season---or even a one loss season---is very difficult to attain because the longer success continues---every opponent gets more and more "up" to play you. College teams are largely made up of 18 to 22 year old kids. Its incredibly difficult to keep those kids focused on delivering their best game every week. At some point that focus is going to slip while their opponent comes out focused and ready to deliver the best game of their lives.

Be it 12-0 or even 11-1------It aint easy to do. Enjoy those seasons.
