Why is Chadwell carefully choosing his words to be so vague on the specifics and the timeline to return. The depth chart released today says McCall still listed as 2nd in their depth chart. I'm going to mentally prepare myself that Chadwell will pull a fast one us on game day...

Troy played ULM and ULM's QB Rhett Rodriguez got injured in the game and hasn't returned.
Troy played Coastal and Coastal's QB Grayson McCall got injured in the game and hasn't returned.
Troy played USA and USA's QB Jake Bentley got injured in the game and hasn't returned.

Right now, yes, APP controls its own destiny, but still have a very dangerous game with Troy, and GS always plays us tough, CCU, on the other hand with a healthy McCall is heavily favored for their last 3, now, GSU has a really good chance to beat CCU, which would give APP some breathing room

Hell, Brice was hurt in the game against Arkansas State. All App fans held their breath when hearing that Jacob Huesman wasn't available as back-up. Instead it was Navy Schuler, son of Congressman and former 1st round draft pick Heath Schuler.

No way Chadwell is shopping himself and McCall as a package deal.

I’d never want to see any player get hurt. But we would improve as an offense IMHO if we made a move to Chandler Fields.

I'm thinking bursitis is just a cover for concussion, but Chadwell doesn't want to take heat for putting McCall back in after he was clearly not fit to play.

Have you ever had bursitis? It's extraordinarily painful in ordinary situations so if that's what he has, I could see him sitting. Only real remedy is rest.

You act like there aren't medical professionals that have to make the call. He went back into the game after clearing protocols. McCall said he took a shot in the gut and that's why he vommitted. Doesn't have to be a grand conspiracy.

I think some of it is coach speak / gamesmanshio. Some of it is just not fully knowing.

I know the juicy part is that McCall could be out, but Chadwell also said he could be back. I think the media are over sensationalizing it a bit.
