Troy fans will miss you. Playing Little Rock always bring the expectation of a tough, hard fought game.

Looks like Little Rock may be the team to beat this year, more so than Troy...LR already has wins over Vanderbilt and Memphis. And it appears Little Rock can beat Auburn in the next game too

We played LSUA&MC at the Cajundome last night. We lost by a lot, but attendance was great for a women’s game. 2,711. Was nice to see Kim Mulkey coaching in the state of Louisiana again. Tigers had a big time size advantage. It will be interesting to see if Kim can turn them into a national power, I think she can, it’s not like they were terrible before she got there.

I truly feel like our women's coach must have her job on the line. Our OOC schedule this year feels like a FCS football program scheduled for us for the most part (and I say that as it's no disrespect to the 3 Sun Belt teams on it)

- William Carey (NAIA)
- ULM
- @Alabama
- Samford
- Arkansas Pine Bluff (SWAC)
- Mississippi Valey State (SWAC)
- @Georgia St
- @South Alabama
- Blue Mountain (NAIA and WTH)
- Alabama A&M (SWAC)(@FAU Tournament)
- Richmond (@FAU Tournnament)

As of this post these opponents combined D1 records are 3-19 with Alabama having 2 of those 3 wins 04-jawdrop03-puke

JMU improve to 2-2 after beating Hampton 78-60. Played a much better game than the past two games.

After losing their first game to Baylor 81-54, the UTA Mavs beat Sam Houston 72-54, then beat Houston 69-66 and UNT 75-74, those last two wins being in OT. So a 3-1 start so far.

The other "lame duck" women's basketball program (Little Rock) is 4-1. This includes wins over Vanderbilt, Memphis, and Auburn. Not too shabby.

Little Rock has looked extremely impressive.

They are looking the part of an SBC champ.

Lady Warhawks a dumpster fire, lots of talent but no coaching. Big disappointment in the hire of Brooks D Williams, supposed to be a hit but is definitely a BIG miss. Not even competitive in games, Two 3 win seasons in a row with victories over NAIA schools, may not reach 6 wins this year and in conference we’ll be smoked most of the time finishing dead last again.

Troy begins with a huge victory over in-state opponent Talladega University! 101-81
