There is so much stupid union bullsh*t in higher education. Our nurses are part of UAW and our secretaries and admissions staff are members of CWA, a line workers union. The fact that a University employee was a part of a professor's union is tame compared to some I've heard or seen lol.

No, UC's AAUP chapter is exclusively university lecturers and professors. Some will also cover non-teaching academic adminstrators, but UC is not one of them.

Bearcatman is a sensei. I’m just a numb skull attorney who can see the low hanging fruit from time to time. Penny is a dumpster fire.

Calipari would complain about it all the time as well. But usually by the end of the season, he has them making deep tournament runs. Calipari’s best teams always had a mix of young superstars and a few key vets that could hold them together.

Recruiting is a lot of it, but it ain’t everything.

But really...Emoni Bates is a ******* cancer of the highest order, and is probably what is getting to Penny and the team more than anything. I've got more stories than I know what to do with from guys in SE MI about him and his dad over the last few years that would make you guys laugh and cry. There is a reason why Michigan didn't even recruit him, and why Michigan State was thrilled when he decommited.

the problem for Penny this year is he returned the core of a team that won the NIT and was playing like a top 20 team the last 1/3 of last season. They added elite talent, but the core is experienced. This team should be significantly better.

There is a thread on the Memphis board asking if the Press Conference was enough to suspend Penny for a game or two (with the expectation that if he were suspended he would just quit). What a fall from grace...gotta love it.
